The Learn to Farm Program offers the opportunity to work and learn the ins and outs of a small scale farm operation through the one acre farm. Many of the tasks at the one acre are done with a garden cart, buckets and a couple of hand tools. A morning’s work here often comes with a different pace and variation than the repetitive work that the long beds in the main fields require. In the last two mornings, we did a little bit of everything including weeding, mowing, harvesting, bee keeping and, of course, garden planning.
